The actress first attracted attention in Peter Hedges' Pieces of April with Katie Holmes and Derek Luke.
She first got a taste for acting while narrating stories in a choir and subsequently landed a job doing voice tapes for children's books
She made her screen debut in the TV series The Lost Don II and made her first feature outing in The Life Before This.
A series of TV movies followed and then she appeared in the romantic drama Skipped Parts with Drew Barrymore.
In 2000, Pill was awarded the Best Young Actress Award for The Dinosaur Hunter at the Burbank Festival and went on to star in Perfect Pie.
In 2003, she played Beth Burns in Pieces of April and went on to star opposite Lindsay Lohan in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.
