A strong cast - Treat Williams, Kim Cattrall, Saul Rubinek and Carroll O'Connor - lends weight to this TV movie thriller that's cut to a familiar pattern but well executed. Brewery boss Williams, having suffered a heart attack, leaves the business in the hands of his brother (Alain Goulem). But he then discovers that the Mob has got its sticky fingers into his livelihood. Can he get the Mob out and stay alive? Difficult. If you're patient with the slowish start, this stylishly photographed film will reward you with some pretty good tension and gun action later on. The acting is solid, too, with Williams believable as the battling businessman, O'Connor entertaining as a maverick ex-cop and Rubinek at times very funny as the main mobster.
