Joel Edgerton

Edgerton is probably best known for his role as the young Owen Lars in the Star Wars series.
He made his feature debut alongside Casey Affleck in the comedy Race The Sun in 1996 and is now appearing in high profile Australian movies including Ned Kelly.
A graduate of Sydney's Theatre Nepean, he established a solid career on stage, including stints with the Bell Shakespeare Company.
After Race The Sun he appeared in a string of minor movies, including Praise and Erskinville Kings with Hugh Jackman.
TV work, including The Secret Life of Us, followed before he got the call call from George Lucas for Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.
(his brother Nash also played the stunt double for Ewan McGregor in the movie).
Next up was the role on one of three bankrobbing brothers in the slick crime caper The Hard Word, with Guy Pearce.
His next role was Aaron Sheritt in Gregor Jordan's Ned Kelly, alongside Heath Ledger, Orlando Bloom and Geoffrey Rush.
Upcoming projects include Antoine Fuqua's medieval drama King Arthur with Clive Owen and Stars Wars: Episode III.
