Seann William Scott
Born: 12th July 1977
Where: Minnesota, USA
William Scott is putting the college student humour of American Pie behind him to appear as a star in his own right.
The youngest of seven children, he was inspired to become an actor after working double shifts as an usher at a local cinema.
Moving to LA, his early years were notable only for being mugged by the gang the South Central Gangbangers while auditioning for Baywatch.
After a guest stint on the sitcom Unhappily Ever After, he made his TV-movie debut with a supporting role in Born Into Exile.
He made his big screen debut with a breakthrough role playing Stifler in the popular teen sex comedy American , and reprised his role in American Pie 2.
The next year he returned to the big screen in the high school-set thriller Final Destination.
He followed up with a co-starring turn as one of a group of college guys from New York, who accompany a friend in Road Trip.
He co-starred in the sci-fi comedy Evolution, with Julianne Moore and David Duchovny, as well as appearing in the Aerosmith music video, Hole in My Soul.
Leaving the frat-boy movies behind with the lacklustre Stark Raving Mad he also starred in the enjoyable martial arts caper Bulletproof Monk.
He reprised the role of Stifler for the final time (and with much greater screen time) in the third and final film in the series, American Pie: The Wedding.
2003 also saw him take a small role in Old School with Will Ferrell before coming face to face with The Rock in Welcome To The Jungle.
Recent work includes the role of Bo opposite Johnny Knoxville's Luke in the big screen version of The Dukes of Hazzard.
