Oh, no, not another coming-of-age drama! But wait, this one's not at all bad if you like this sort of thing. Jerry O'Connell gives a fine performance as the troubled older brother of Nick Stahl, returning home after a 15-year absence. Of course, secrets are revealed and the family is divided before the film's dramatic conclusion. Susan Dey is effective as the boys' mother and Sam Elliott (without his usual rugged moustache) is also good as the stern high school principal.
