Rather disappointing for Ewan McGregor fans, this weird tale of a British secret agent in America heads off with great steam on the road to nowhere. McGregor plays a burnt-out spy who, coming across serial killer Ashley Judd, falls inexplicably in love with her and follows her across the US, even helping her with her crimes. The two leads offer compelling performances and it's made with some flair but, by the end, it just falls apart in its own cleverness.
