Animal Farm

Jim Henson's creature shop is heavily involved in this live action film version of George Orwell's political satire. It's a grim tale as a drunken farmer (Pete Postlethwaite) kicks starts the revolt by the animals of Manor Farm, who vow to take over from the human tormentors with the aim of being free and equal. The animals are totally convincing as actors and a superb voice cast includes Kelsey 'Frasier' Grammer, Julia 'Seinfeld' Louis-Dreyfus, Peter Ustinov, Ian Holm and Patrick Stewart. Impressive indeed.
