Written and directed by Neil Tolkin, this youth-oriented coming of age drama follows the fortunes of three baseball-obsessed youngsters whose idyllic summer is marred by a violent local bully. Needless to say, the kids find their own way of dealing with the problem in the absence of their busy-busy parents. Kirstie Alley, Lisa Eichhorn and Gary Busey are among the somewhat neglectful adults at whom the film takes a minor snipe. Great for young teenagers, if containing some coarse language.
