Simon Cellan Jones

Cellan Jones's first feature was the BAFTA nominated Some Voices with Daniel Craig and Kelly McDonald.
He began his career in film working in the mailroom of Twentieth Century Fox in London.
After jobbing as a runner on several films, including 1984, he worked as a press photographer in Beirut before joining the BBC as a location manager.
He worked as assistant director on the acclaimed Edge of Darkness while enrolled on the BBC Directors Course.
TV work included A Fine Romance and Cracker followed, before he linked up with writer Peter Flannery to make the mini-series Our Friends In The North.
Television movies In Your Dreams and Storm Damage followed before he switched to the big screen with Some Voices.
Recent film work includes The One and Only with Justine Waddell and Richard Roxburgh.
