A comedy about four temporary secretaries who become allies while working in the same large corporation. The film is narrated by shy Iris (Toni Collette), whose temp friends include Friends Lisa Kudrow. But the women's friendship is threatened by the arrival of Cleo (Helen Fitzgerald), a nerdy permanent staffer whom they naturally resent. This comedy works for its first 45 minutes, but then the film deflates into a dull world we may know all too well and want to escape from on screen. .
