So-so children's surf movie (so no moonlit sex and drug parties then) about a young girl (Camille Belle) who returns to her native Hawaii to receive an inheritance. However, to stake her claim she has to spend two weeks living on the plantation. So is this a haunted house story then? Nah, don't be stupid it's just about teen angst. And hers is a real dilemma - should she sell the land and buy an endless supply of designer clothes or go surfing? No contest really.
