Rick Peters plays a young hotel security guard who unwittingly helps femme fatale Sean Young, a gemologist out to frame her ex-boyfriend, to steal some jewellery - but it's the guard who gets framed for the robbery. Young is ideally cast, and so are Ron Perlman (as her boss) and John Saxon (as a detective), and the result's an engaging, well-plotted caper that's well worth checking out. The classy character actors really pump up this film noir-style thriller that is also known as Night Class.
