David Gordon Green

Gordon Green attracted the attention of critics and cinemagoers with his debut feature George Washington.
The story, which he also wrote, about a group of boys who try to cover up a tragic accident was awarded the New York Film Critics' Best Film Award.
"Most days I feel like I don't even exist. I'm just this being, floating around, absorbing how other people exist."
Raised in Texas, he graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts after studying directing.
His second feature - All The Real Girls, starring Paul Schneider and Zooey Deschanel - also won unanimous praise from the critics.
In 2005, he made the southern gothic thriller Undertow, starring Billy Elliot actor Jamie Bell.
