Well made TV-movie version of William Inge's play, that was most famously filmed in 1955 with William Holden and Kim Novak, tells of a handsome drifter, (Josh Brolin) who shakes up a sleepy town on Labor Day weekend in 1966. Mary Steenburgen and Gretchen Mol co-star.
