Strictly for young kids because of its rather daffy comedy (P. U. N. K. S. stands for Protect the Underdog with Nerve, Knowledge and Strength) and implausible plot. Young Drew (Tim Redwine) and his friends find out that a machine that creates strength, the Augmentor, may be used for military purposes, whereas they just want to use it to stop bullying. The sub-teens crack passwords, hack into computers and discover that Drew's father's (Randy Quaid) life is at stake, as he works for the Augmentor's creator company, CRAP (! ), and is soon going to be using the machine, but he has a weak heart. Ultra-cool Henry 'Fonz' Winlkler plays the evil Mr Crow, designer of the dreaded machine. Scattered laughs all round.
