A crew of actors who should know better mug mightily under false beards and wigs in a Biblical epic that runs like a Monty Python spoof (a long run too, originally, at three hours, but cut down in this version). Jon Voight plods wearily through it as Noah, trying to ignore the fact that the writers are playing fast and loose with the Biblical timeline, linking him with, among other events, Sodom and Gomorrah. When God says: 'I think big. I made the world in six days.' You're inclined to conclude the makers of the film had the same attitude. F Murray's Abraham's unrepentent sinner provides this white elephant of a movie with its few entertaining moments.
