Bold casting, but it pays off in this religious satire which, despite its hit-and-miss gags, is always watchable. On the run in New Mexico's desert, Woody drops one of his wife's hands. A blind woman trips over it, regains her sight and cries 'Miracle! '. From there on all subtlety vanishes, but the cast has loads of fun.
