Co-produced by actress Glenn Close, this drama is almost as bleak as its Nova Scotia locations. Rather heavy going at times, its offbeat story still proves quite haunting, as a family devastated by the death of an infant son is surprised by the arrival of an abandoned baby girl, left on their doorstep. Their new-found happiness is short-lived, however, when the child's now-repentant birth mother turns up. Farrah Fawcett and Keith Carradine star.
