A good script does make a difference and this dramatic road movie has one that's a fair notch or two above the usual TV film fare. And its attractive cast is another bonus: Tuesday Weld excels as the vulnerable lady falling for the specious spell cast by unctuous con-man Peter Coyote; Sheree North contributes another of her telling cameos as Miss Weld's mother; and Keith Carradine is an amiable travelling companion as he and Miss Weld track down the dastardly Coyote. Weld's tough and convincing performance will have you cheering her on in the last reel. An unusual, well-made and satisfying story.
