Zany, freewheeling comedy about a blue-movie maker (Warren Beatty) with a French widow in his room in the shape of Leslie Caron. It's pleasant, lightweight and occasionally gratifyingly lunatic. Spot Warren Mitchell, silent star Bessie Love and Donald Sutherland in small roles; bemoan the waste of comediennes Hermione Gingold and Libby Morris; and applaud Keenan Wynn, who deservedly gets all the best lines as a super-salesman.
