The second and final part of this compulsive British thriller with a French provincial setting takes the story's events through to an ironic conclusion. Attractive performances by Carmen du Sautoy, Jonathan Pryce and Cherie Lunghi mark this further collaboration between writer Philip Mackie and director Jack Gold following their celebrated Quentin Crisp biopic The Naked Civil Servant.
