A suspense and action western, this TV film concerns a deputy sheriff facing challenges to his authority while trying to deal with the problem of who poisoned the town's minister. Oscar-winning Ernest Borgnine plays the deputy, who finds out the minister was not all he seemed. Britain's Judy Geeson makes her Hollywood debut as one of the suspects, and the cast is rounded out by a fine selection of American character stars including Will Geer, Bruce Dern, Sam Jaffe, J D Cannon, Slim Pickens, John McGiver, Dub Taylor and Jay C Flippen.
