The true-life, exciting exploits of one of Holland's most extraordinary heroes of World War Two, are recounted in this film, which was not released to British cinemas. Rutger Hauer, since a Hollywood star in such films as Nighthawks with Sylvester Stallone and Blade Runner with Harrison Ford, plays this charismatic character, while the cosmopolitan supporting cast includes such British stars as Edward Fox and Susan Penhaligon.
