Dennis Hopper embarks on a journey more bleak than that undertaken by his motorcyclist in Easy Rider, as he escorts the coffin of a dead Vietnam buddy across America. A muddled, dreary odyssey with some annoying attempts at black comedy. The supporting characters played by Michael Emil and Zack Norman later emerged in their own film Sitting Ducks. Make tracks away from this one.
