A modern-dress entry in Hammer's Dracula series, which gives a new, if rather improbable method of disposing of vampires and presents the bad count as a property speculator with a cellar full of nubile girl vampires. Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing play with their usual aplomb, but it proved the last gasp of the famous Hammer series after 16 years. 'Ab Fab' fans will be amused to see Joanna Lumley in one of the last of her ingenue roles as Cushing's biteable daughter.
