This, the third of Hammer's Dracula films, suffers from a less credible premise than the original, and from heroes and heroines so silly that it's difficult to sympathise with their plight. Never mind, Christopher Lee, in his second turn as the Count, is as hissingly horrifying as ever as the master of darkness who is awakened from his seemingly eternal sleep by four hapless travellers (including Barbara Shelley) who stumble upon his abandoned castle high in the Carpathian Mountains. Chillingly delightful fun.
