To enjoy this farcical comedy you really have to be a fan of pint-sized Gary Coleman. Coleman was the 10-year-old star of the TV sitcom Diff'rent Strokes and after the show's success, a move to films was inevitable. Unfortunately, in wide screen you tend to overdose on cute, which is what you get here. What you end up with is a feature length Gary Coleman Show. There are some fine actors in the supporting cast - Paul LeMat Ruth Gordon, Cleavon Little, Pat Morita - but, as one critic put it: `. . how sad it is to see talented actors having to centre their abilities around this obnoxious ball of energy.' You have been warned.
