Walt Disney would probably have loved this recent TV film from the American Disney TV Channel. Perfect all-round family entertainment, its simple story, taking passing nods from Back to the Future, is a real charmer. Huckleberry Fox, whose luminous eyes seem to hide nothing, is a modern-day youngster obsessed with aviation who travels back to 1927 in a time machine to warn his grandfather not to take part in an attempt to be the first flyer to cross the atlantic in the roaring Twenties - a flight doomed to failure. The depiction of small town American life of the period is full of wonderful comic touches and the acting is flawless.
