Miyazaki being a slight aero-nut, each film he made HAD to have an obligatory flight scene, and so Castle in the Sky takes to the air all his ambitions and love for the sky and the mystery it beholds. Disney may have taken a few liberties with script dubbing, but the real detail is in the visuals and the story, with battles streaking above the clouds, the rampage of a reactivated robot and the penultimate fate of Laputa between those in search of riches and those in search of power...
