Comedy-musicals of nubile students on holiday at some seaside paradise have remained popular since the Beach Party films, right up to the 1988 film Shag. This offering is set in southern New Jersey and its bright spots (not many) include songs by Adam Roth and the colour photography by Peter Stein.
