Charlton Heston got a chance to break away from his `Mr Epic' image, and exercise his considerable talent for light-comedy in this amiable romp about two American agents getting messages out of wartime Italy by pigeon post. Plump Italian comedy actor Salvatore Baccaloni adds to the fun.
