For many years a 'lost' film (some maintain it should have stayed that way), this is by awesomely bad director Edward D Wood Jr, and an indirect sequel to two of his previous films, Plan 9 from Outer Space and Bride of the Monster. Wood, using his customary minimal sets (an otherwise blank wall with a picture on it is par for the course), makes some half-hearted attempts to inject humour into his stolid script. Never mind, Duke Moore, the thick-skulled cop from Plan 9, is back in inaction, and you can stand by (and stay awake) for the delirious climax in which coffin-based clairvoyant Criswell, a real-life TV personality, leads a mass attack by a pack of zombies dressed like travelling salesmen.
