This may be the first movie in which the hero is an obscene phone caller. Anna (Charbonneau) mistakenly thinking the caller's her boyfriend, goes to a sleazy bar to meet `him' and witnesses a murder there. As the murderer's a copy, she's not sure what to do, and gradually finds her only solace in the seductive voice on the other end of the line. It's an interesting concept, but the execution of it is only mediocre and the film's enthusiasm for `dirty talk' rather overwhelms the central story thread. Still, if you pay Call Me a visit, you may never view oranges in quite the same light again...
