Magnificent photography - on location in Texas and Arizona - and the casting against type of good ol' Andy Griffith, gleefully relishing his role as a sadistic businessman, highlight this offbeat action film, strongly cast for a TV movie. Robert Michael Lewis' rollercoaster direction succeeds in holding our attention nicely all the way through.
