Sissy Spacek and Peter Coyote? Must be a cut about your average TV movie you'd think, and you'd be right. Despite a resistible set-up (a midwife in rural Vermont is accused of the death of one of her patients), this courtroom drama is well above the average. Spacek was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for her role as the midwife and Coyote is excellent in support as her lawyer.
