Pipe Dream

Romantic comedy starring Martin Donovan and Mary-Louise Parker. To prove his point that only the rich and famous get any respect in the world, a New York plumber poses as a film director, only to have his proposed movie put into production.

Fun, quirky film about a plumber (Martin Donovan) who, fed up with women ignoring him, poses as a film director to land a date and ends up taking things further than he'd planned. A little too long, but the flawed hero keeps things unpredictable. Mary-Louise Parker and Rebecca Gayheart also star.
