If golf's your bag, why not get in the swing? When an entire movie tees off on a golf course with just four characters, some strong personalities and dialogue are a must. And, luckily, this film about four golfing friends (Catholic priest John Heard, strip club owner Burt Young, financial adviser Ronny Cox and author Pat Morita), spanning from 1936 to the present day, can offer both -- and top-rate performances too. Though it's about the genteel game of golf, the original movie had strong language, nudity and sex references, but a PG version was released in the UK. Released a year after the similarly themed The Legend of Bagger Vance.
