Although it's also known as Hellcab, this is no horror thriller, but a serious of vignettes featuring the same Chicago taxi driver (Paul Dillon). His extremely diverse fares range from mismatched couples, to a woman who's just been raped and a religious family trying to convert him . All are interesting but only flit through the screen and then they're gone, which may irritate some viewers; there's nothing to cling on to here. Gillian Anderson, John Cusack and Julianne Moore are just three of the familiar faces playing roles in a well acted, but curiously unsatisfying piece.
