Screening this disaster movie now might seem insensitive, but it's certainly become more topical since it was made two years ago. An unknown enemy (bin Laden is suspected at one point) releases a deadly virus into America. Government officials and medical workers ddesperately try to save lives and survive to reunite with their loved ones. Grim, and not a patch on the similarly themed 28 Days Later, but often suspenseful. Starring Vanessa Williams, Timothy Hutton and Lane Smith.
