A light vehicle for hunky but wooden actor Freddie Prinze Jr, this coming-of-age drama, released straight-to-video, requires viewers to not only understand the American passion for baseball, but also to think that Prinze Jr is great. He's Ryan, a poor Cape Cod teenager who falls for rich girl Tenley (Jessica Biel). In a hackneyed triumph-over-adversity tale, she, of course, is the only one who can help him realise his dream of baseball success. For young teens who haven't yet seen it all before.
