Based on a disturbing true tale, this courtroom drama centres on prisoner Shango (Morris Chestnut), who's accused of murder after protests in the Attica Prison turned bloody. Shango's sickly lawyer (Alan Alda) is determined to clear his name, as is keen helper Rose McGowan, who grows fond of her cause. A bit on the laborious side, but a worthy, well-acted story.
