Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
Arnie suits up again for the third outing as the mean machine with a great stock of one-liners. Action-packed mayhem all the way.
It's a kick ass movie. High action, Good storyline, good effects, what more could you want?
The only bad thing was that Arnie's getting a bit old but hey?

About 30 minutes into this film, I whispered to my boyfriend, "This sucks!" And the rest of the film didn't change my mind one bit... Arnie is just too old - he's more Pensionator than Terminator. The new John Connor is a complete pussy - Dale Winton would make a tougher 'Leader of the Resistance'. Clare Danes looks like a frumpy housewife and the Terminatrix is just dull, dull, dull. If I had to describe this film in three words, they would be tiresome, silly and un-original. NOT recommended.

Loved the special effects promised to us and delivered beautifully, one-liners were fun but the movie is a tad predictable. Towards the end even I was finding it a bit hard to swallow. T3 is merely a history lesson on what's to come in T4. The guy playing John Connor seems to be always out of breath, although wonderfully backed by the lady star. If you're a fan, you'll love it. If you were after more of a plotline...you'll be disappointed. 8/10

Arnie and T3's special effects were really good. Some amusing one-liners from Arnie but consequently the film wasn't as serious as the first two, which jarred. I wanted the film to go on longer, and the music could have been better. A lame storyline and a bit of a pointless film as (SPOILER HERE) the end indicated the whole film was just setting up T4.

Quite disappointing considering the legacy of the first two films. I knew it would be in trouble when I heard James Cameron wasn't directing. T3 definitely lacks his visual skills and energy - it looks flat and the two leads (John Connor and his wife-to-be) are flat and lifeless. It's not as bad as this summer's other sequels but fans will be expecting so much more, and this doesn't deliver at all...what a shame!
