Superstition

Spooky courtroom drama based on a true story, starring Mark Strong, Sienna Guillory and Charlotte Rampling. An Italian lawyer agrees to defend an English nanny accused of murdering her charge, only to begin to suspect that the death may have a supernatural cause.

Sienna Guillory as a nanny working in Italy who's accused of murder when a baby dies in a fire. Fires start wherever she goes - but is it arson or something supernatural? Mark Strong plays the lawyer determined to find out. Based on true events, this is an interesting thriller, though the tale lacks suspense as told here. A strong cast includes Frances Barber, as another lawyer, Charlotte Rampling, David Warner and Alice Krige.
