A so-so sleuthing tale in which ER's Kellie Martin plays Samantha Kinsey, an amateur detective investigating a murder in the wake of her uncle's death. Robert Wagner portrays the unfortunate victim, a crime writer who's worked a real, unsolved incident into his new novel. Kinsey goes in guns-a-blazing, but never really convinces as a crime-solver. The amiable cast includes Troy Bishop, Steven Brand, Amy Locane and Joan Severance.
