With an opening totally ripping off Mission: Impossible II's death-defying climb up a mountain face (here, it's the side of a building), you can see where this action adventure film for kids is heading.
But it's harmless, albeit unchallenging fun, for pre-teens.
When her father (Sam Robards) is injured in a mountain accident, her mother (Jennifer Beals) frets about how to raise the quarter of a million dollars to pay for a vital operation for him.
So their climbing-obsessed daughter, Maddy (Kirsten Stewart) comes to the conclusion that the best way to raise the money is for her and her chums to pull off a bank job (as you do! ) - trouble is mum is the secrurity chief at the bank in question.
The special-effects and stunts are OK but you can't help but feel this is a pointless exercise - watch MI2 instead.
