The seasoned TV director made his big screen debut with The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse.
The feature version of the hit television comedy featured the original team as well as cameos form Bernard Hill and Victoria Wood.
Bendelack made his TV debut on the puppet satire Spitting Image (for which he was nominated for a BAFTA) in 1994 as well as working as a title designer on the likes of Clive Anderson Talks Back.
Subsequent small screen work included political comedy The Saturday Night Armistice, Frank Skinner Live and pop quiz show Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
In 1999, he directed The League of Gentlemen's first TV outing and went on to work on The Royal Family and French & Saunders.
Recent work includes Little Britain with Matt Lucas David Walliams and The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse.
