Mikael Håfström

The director attracted international attention with the boarding school drama Evil.
He started his career in Swedish television as an assistant director and made his feature debut with the TV movie A Finger for Arms.
Subsequent work included his 1995 big screen debut Vendetta and a docu-drama about the life of murdered Swedish prime minister Olof Palme.
In 2001, he made the drama Leva Livet and followed up with the Evil, starring Andreas Wilson as the rebel confronting bullies at a 1950s boarding school.
