The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
Peter Jackson's Herculean film adaptation of the Tolkien classic comes to an end leaving the feeling that it's the greatest film trilogy ever made.
A fantastic movie. Great end to the movie. My favourite actor in LOTR is Sir Ian Mckellen as Gandalf.
John Hannon
All I can say is FANTASTIC. They kept honest with the story-lines, and the outcome was a truly mindblowing experience.
I am really stuck for words.....

I wasn't very keen on the film. I watched it with my mates and well it wasn't the best thing ever. It had very peculiar effects in it like my TV had jammed. Sorry to say but this film is a bit boring.
Billy Tommy
I must say Peter Jackson is a good writer - this film is really the bomb I love it.
Ben Redford
Usually, they say that the best film is always the first film, but the final film was brilliant. Better than 1 and 2 put together. I loved the lava. I'ts so orange and I liked the bad army because they were brilliant.

The filmmakers picked the best actors and actresses to play all the parts in this excellent film. I think it's the best out of all three!!!
Emma Ramsey
The end of a journey and what an ending! The best of all three of the films but of course cannot be viewed on its own.
This final installment has it all. Fight scenes to rival the two towers, love interest, parting of ways and an ending that leaves you wanting to know more about the characters long after the film has ended.
I might be biased as I have become a LOTR anorak over the past three years but definately worth watching again and again and again.....!

Well, if Braveheart can get a 5* from TV Times, then I'm sure this movie can. Amazing to the very finish. If it doesn't then Sky Movies will need to get another independant reviewer, this film needs a 6* rating! You'll love it.

The first time I saw The Fellowship was in January when the ROTK came out in cinemas and I thought I might aswell watch it and I was so amazed I went out and bought it along with The Two Towers and as soon as I watched them I went straight to the cinema. It is the most sensational film I have ever seen and I was upset I hadn't watched them sooner. The ROTK is absolutely superb - I don't know how anyone can say it is rubbish... it is so unbeliveable, spectacular, heart-racing... the ultimate film

The most eagerly awaited movie of the trilogy, and I must say that it was definitely worth the wait. It has the biggest and best battle scenes, the best and biggest special effects, making it a must see. Even if you are not a lover of the movies or the book, the final scenes will still bring tears to your eyes...
George Winterbourne
Best film of the year.
Carly Hancox
The lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is so good. Far better then all films in history. It is superb!
Michael Loads
Absolutely amazing. Peter Jackson has done Tolkein proud.
Brenda Logan
I watched the movie enthralled, happy, touched and so very sad that it was ending and I am glad I wasn't the only person crying. Then I read the books and I would like to thank Mr. Jackson for sticking so closely to the wonderful story of Mr Tolkein. Middle earth really does exist and what a fantastic world it must have been.
Louise McLean
Absolutely, phenomenally, amazing!! A must see, and sure-fire winner!
Anthony Dabor
Although the first two were entertaining this is much better. The best film of all time. My favourite part of the film was seeing the nazgul flying on those creatures in the huge battle scene. Now that's what I call entertainment.
Norbert Dean
The best film ever created! Excellent! Love the effects and music is very cool. I like the bit when the dead come to help fight the battle and then Aragorn sets them free. Everyone should see it. Thank you Peter Jackson!
Scott Gibbs
Really great film! Nice efects used as well! Probably one of the best films I have ever seen. Truly amazing! Top marks are deserved. Only one thing though is the length. A tiny bit long but still very good!
Daniel Bonilla
This film is one of the best films I have ever seen. I found it very interesting the way it is presented and how real it seems.
Richard Close
It started off great and unlike a lot of films finished and rounded off what happened to all the characters. Mr Peter Jackson ensured superb special effects, kept the story from the books and provided 3 hours and 20 minutes of excellent entertainment. By far the best of the films in the trilogy. The question is not why to see this film but why not to see it.
Sam Turner
I have one word to say about this movie: BREATH-TAKING! I reviewed Pirates of the Caribbean saying it's my favourite film ever, but now I'm not so sure. The battle scenes were ace, the best any director has done before. Peter Jackson deserves a medal for what he has created. A once in a lifetime piece of cinema technology. I bet it'll get at least seven awards!!!!
Nikkola Russell
I went to see this film with very high hopes. The first two LOTR films had been excellent. When I got there and sat down in the cinema I was not disappointed. I can easily say that this was the best out of the three. Everything that was said and done in the first two films finally came together and made sense in this last one. It is positively the best film of our time and I would encourage anyone who hasn't seen it yet to go and see it straight away. It was brilliant!!
Andie R
Definitely the best of the three. All the best parts were left to the end and Jackson handles it brilliantly. If it doesn't get the best film Oscar then something is seriously wrong as they've managed to evade The Fellowship and Two Towers. Hats off to Andy Serkis as Gollum.
Mary Langsdale
WOW! I think this will remain in evreyone's memories for a very long time - even people who don't think much of LOTR!
Jane Church
What can you say about this stupendous film? It meets all expectations and more, keeping you hanging on for dear life while you ride on a rollercoaster of emotions - seesawing between terror and gladness, excitement and sadness! We clapped when the opening music started and cheered as the credits rolled. Mr Jackson, you have surpassed even my wildest dreams.
Jason Cawston
What a fantastic film, the fight seens are WOW! the graphics are WOOHOO! And above all it's the best film ever made!
Richard Johnston
Brillant. Breath-taking. Well worth watching.
Sam Wilson
Simply amazing. Except for the rubbish right at the end. Would have shaved 15 minutes off the clock. But overall superb! Return of the King raps up the trilogy good, and let's hope we dont get an Episode 1 Attack of the Hobbits Prequel. Dont ruin an already ideal film lads...
Shelley Mawson
The Lord of all Films!!! This was fantastic... Its funny, scary and romantic. You will find yourself crying throughout! The technology and special effects are out of this world! If you've read the book you won't be disappointed about how much they spent on it. They deserve an oscar for this one, the best of the trilogy!
Cathy Ferguson
Fantastic film! Brilliant battle scenes, packed with action from start to finish. The time flew by and it's just a shame this is the final film in the trilogy.
