Keira Knightley undoes all the good work she did in Pride & Prejudice as a miscast poor-little-rich girl who pursues a career as a Los Angeles bounty hunter. Director Tony Scott appears to be hitting some sort of mid-life crisis in this yarn - equal parts pretension and pupil-warping camera work - which is reputedly based on the real-life daughter of matinee idol Lawrence Harvey.
Went to see this film knowing it had not received favourable reviews and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Mickey Rourke was fantastic in an understated way and Keira Knightley was also great. Don't avoid this just because of the reviews. Good escapism for a couple of hours.
