Some awesome fight scenes, Eric Bana is good and Mr Pitt fills the part of a legend the best he can with some hard one liners. Orlando... whimpers and falls over as a prince and as an actor, he starts a war over love apparently but I think he just liked her a bit. Great bit parts for the old boys Peter O'Toole, Brian Cox and Trevor Eve, showing up the young'uns.

Troy is a brilliant film because it has so much action. Even though it is 3 hours long it makes up for it with full on fighting.

This film has had a lot of bad reviews. However I enjoyed it. It was three hours long and if it had been poor, it wouldn't have kept my attention. It won't send you on an emotional journey but you will have a big-sword battling epic evening of fun. Also helps if you drink some premium lager whilst watching it. I think!

This film is brilliant, and Brad Pitt is very good. Don't believe the bad reviews this film received.

I love this film I love Brad and Orlando in this film. It's realy good and it tells the legend quite accuratly.

Eric Bana plays the part of Hector brilliantly and Achilles is gorgeous. Orlando Bloom is great and so cute. One of the best films I have ever seen.

Troy is the BEST - I love it! I'm doing a course in classical civilisation, and this movie made those hard books so easy.

Despite the clashing of swords and the emotion etc, it lacked depth.

I think troy is a good film because of some of the actors such as Eric Bana. He gives a really good performance as Hector, but even though Brad Pitt has the good body that Achilles should have he just plays him really cheesy. Other wise there's too much war and not enough of the film showing the culture of Troy.

I have read some critical reviews of this film but I don't feel that it is that bad. In fact, it really is quite good although maybe the story line was a bit flat, but there wasn't much wrong with the film in general.

I have read The Iliad and this movie is nothing like it. I went to see the Gods war against each other and men weeping openly... Instead I got this. I don't mind watching action and if you try your best to forget that Wolfgang has destroyed a very good story, you can sit back and enjoy the movie. Bloom I thought did well as Paris, but the best character was Odesseus... Sean Bean did a great job.

I have read many very critical reviews of this film which slag off the acting and the plotline, but all I can say is that they are wrong. This film is brilliant and when I watched it I really felt like I was there watching everything, like The Lord Of The Rings. To start with there was only one reason why I went to the cinema... Yes you guessed it... Orlando and Brad in skirts... But this epic adventure wasn't just for the girls - instead one of the greatest films I've ever seen.
